Why Beyond the Scarf? Well, most knitters’ and crocheters’ first project might be something basic like a scarf. Mine was too! But just like any endeavor, going beyond the basic and beyond the ordinary is what makes something truly special and worthwhile. I push beyond expectations of myself in many aspects of life. And I hope by wearing or decorating your home with my items, you’re reminded of this value: to go beyond.
In addition, knitting and crocheting with sustainability in mind is at the core of my practice at Beyond the Scarf. By using reclaimed yarn when possible and ensuring that every scrap is utilized in the stuffing of other items, I strive to operate as a zero-waste business. This commitment not only aligns with my values of environmental responsibility but also allows me to create beautiful and one-of-a-kind handmade goods that are as eco-friendly as they are stylish.
